Badminton at the East Asian Games
Badminton is one among the East Asian Games to the sports that were not constantly in the game program. At the premiere of the Games in 1993 and the following host five badminton disciplines were in the competition program, 2001 and 2005, however, none at all. 2009 Badminton was resumed in the plan of the games and even expanded to include two additional crew disciplines.
