Bafétimbi Gomis

Bafetimbi " Bafé " Gomis ( born August 6, 1985 in La Seyne -sur -Mer ) is a French footballer of Senegalese origin.

Career

In its clubs

The striker comes from the youth division of AS Saint- Étienne. In July 2003 he signed his first professional contract there. By January 2005, he played 17 times and scored two goals. Then Gomis was until June 2005 borrowed at ES Troyes AC, where he was able to achieve six goals in 13 games. For the 2005/06 season he returned to Saint- Étienne. The 2006/07 season was relatively successful for the French. In 30 games, he scored ten goals, partly through spectacular scissors kick. After the 2008 European Championships Gomis extended his contract with Saint -Etienne until 2012, but moved to the 2009/10 season for 13 million € to Olympique Lyon and there wrote a five-year contract.
