Bageis

Bagis (Greek Βάγις ), also Bageis ( Βάγεις ) was an ancient city in Asia Minor, Lydia landscape in today's Gure in western Turkey.

In the Roman Empire Bagis minted its own coins. In late antiquity, and in the Byzantine period it was the seat of a bishop. In the Diocese of the titular Bagis goes back ( titular ) of the Roman Catholic Church.
