Bai Xue

Bai Xue (Chinese白雪, Pinyin Bái Xue; born December 13, 1988 in Heilongjiang ) is a Chinese long-distance runner.

The age of 14 she ran her first marathon and was eighth at the Beijing Marathon in 2:37:07 h

In 2005 she was Asian champion in 5000 - and 10,000 -meter run.

In 2007, she was third in the Beijing Marathon in 2:27:46 h and 2008 second in the Xiamen Marathon in 2:23:27 h

After she finished 21st place in the 10,000 - meter race of the 2008 Olympics, she won the Beijing Marathon the same year in 2:26:27 h

In 2009 she won the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in Berlin gold in 2:25:15 h to title defense at the Beijing Marathon two months later handed her a time of 2:34:44 h
