Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde

Baignes -Sainte -Radegonde is a commune with 1315 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Charente in the Poitou -Charentes; it belongs to the district of Cognac and Canton Baignes -Sainte -Radegonde.

Geography

Neighboring communities of Baignes -Sainte -Radegonde are Lamérac in the north, Touvérac in the east, in the southeast Bors, Chantillac in the south, Vanzac and industry in the Southwest, Mortier and Leoville the west and Saint- Maigrin in the northwest.

The municipality is traversed in an east-west direction from the river Pharaon, who also touches on the municipal seat. On the northern boundary of the municipality, the river runs Tâtre. Both belong to the river system of the Charente.
