Baile na hAbhann [ ˌ b ˠ al ʲ ə n ˠ ə həun̪ ˠ ] ( obsolete anglicized name: Ballynahown ) is a city in County Galway ( Contae na Gaillimhe ) on the west coast of Ireland.
Location
The place is not far from the coast at the end of the coastal strip Cois Fharraige in the Connemara region approximately 30 km west of Galway city on the R336 regional road between Indreabhán and Casla.
