The Baird Mountains are a mountain range of the Brooks Range to the northeast of Kotzebue Sund in western Alaska. They extend over nearly 200 km in the east-west direction between Noatak and Kobuk River. In the east it borders with Amakomanak Creek and Redstone River to the Schwatka Mountains. In the north of the mountain range are parts of the Noatak National Preserves, in the east parts of the Kobuk Valley National Park.
The highest peak of the mountain is Mount Angayukaqsraq with 1433 m.
Was named the mountain in 1886 by Lt. GM Stoney of the United States Army after Spencer Fullerton Baird, an American ornithologist and ichthyologist.
