Economy

Due to the climatic conditions, the attitude of yaks still plays a major role in Tianzhu. White Yaks are grown in this area for a long time, as the white wool and the white skins were better paid than the usually brown yak wool. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the breeding of the White Tainzhu -Yard is also promoted by the state. Since 1991 there is a Koordiniationsgrupppe who developed special breeding plans for the breeding of the White Tianzhu yaks, to increase the still low level of performance. Bulls usually have a height at the withers of 120 centimeters and are significantly smaller than wild yaks.
