Baishan

Baishan (Chinese白山 市/白山 市, pinyin Baishan Shì, also Badaojiang, Hun -chiang, Hun -chiang -shih or Hunjian ) is a prefecture-level city in southeastern China's Jilin province. Baishan has an area of ​​17,485 km ² and 1.29 million inhabitants ( end of 2004). In the east Baishan borders the Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture of Koreans, on the west by the city of Tonghua, Jilin City in the north to the south and to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Here, the middle reaches of the Yalu River forms the state border.
