Bajrakitiyabha

Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol ( Thai: พัชร กิ ติ ยา ภา, RTGS: Phatchara Kittiyapha, pronunciation: [ p ʰ átt͡ɕ ʰ ː p ʰ áʔráʔ kìttìʔya a ː ]; born December 7, 1978 in Bangkok ) is a Thai nobleman and diplomat. She is the only daughter of Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and his former wife Princess Soamsavali Kitiyakara and the first grandson of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX. ).

Life

Bajrakitiyabha studied in the United States at Cornell Law School, where she graduated with a doctorate in jurisprudence.

She then worked in the Thai Mission to the United Nations ( UN) in New York. She then returned to Thailand where it operates various foundations to social rehabilitation of prisoners and improvement of prison conditions, especially for women. In 2006 she began to work as a prosecutor in Thailand.

In December 2011, she went as chair of the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Vienna. On 4 September 2012, the Thai government named her ambassador to Austria. You should take this position in January 2013.
