Election to the State Bureau

In the election for representatives of the three ethnic groups in the State Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic reached on 3 October 2010 as one of nine candidates a vote share of 35%. His rival Fahrudin Radončić who owns the daily newspaper Dnevni Avaz, came to 31% of the votes, while the former Bosniak Haris Silajdžić representative of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina ( SBiH ) was only third with 25%. Due to the unusually high number of invalid votes, the election result is, however, doubted; the election commission ordered a recount of the votes in question. Inauguration was with constitutive meeting of the Presidency on 10 November 2010.
