Geography

Community structure

The municipality comprises the main town Vechta Vechta, belonging to the municipality of farming communities marches village, Harme, whey road, Daren, Elmelage, Lohe, Schledehausen, Tufts and Westerbakum as well as the villages of Carum, Lüsche, Vestrup and Hausstette.

Geology and hydrogeology

History

Mayor

State Forests Open - Air

Since 2002, the " Life in the Streets " State Forests Open - Air will take place in Vechta / tufts.
