Balamban, Cebu

Balamban is a Philippine municipality of the first income class in the province of Cebu. It has 71 237 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

The municipality is located on the west coast of the island of Cebu towards the community Calatrava on the island of Negros, separated by the Tanon Strait. It is located about 64 km north- west of Cebu City, its neighboring communities are Asturias in the north, Cebu City in the east and Toledo City in the south.
