Balinese alphabet

The Balinese script ( aksara Bali ) is a descendent of the Brahmi script and thus belongs to the Indian scriptures.

The Balinese script is used on Bali, to write texts in Balinese language. Furthermore, it is used to write Kawi, an ancient Javanese language and (with some modifications ) of Sasak, a language that is spoken on Lombok used.
