Ball im Savoy is an operetta in three acts and a prelude by Paul Abraham. The libretto by Alfred Grünwald and Fritz Löhner- Beda. The premiere took place on 23 December 1932 at the Grosses Schauspielhaus in Berlin. Protagonists were Gitta Alpar, Rosy Barsony and Oscar Denes.

A few hours ago the rich nobles Aristide de Faublas married the charming Madeleine. Immediately after the wedding ceremony itself, the two embark on a honeymoon to Venice.

Act I

Recordings

The first gramophone recordings were already a few weeks before the premiere. Under the direction of the composer several numbers of the operetta were taken a few vocal soloists of the premiere cast.
