Ballaison

Ballaison is a commune in the French department of Haute- Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region. Ballaison in the wine region of Savoie. White wines from the grape variety Chasselas ( locally called Chasselas ) may be marketed under the protected designation of origin Crépy.

Geography

Ballaison is located on 592 m above sea level. M., 17 km east of Geneva (air line). The municipality covers a scenic location on the western slopes of Mont de Boisy, the plane of the Bas -Chablais south of Lake Geneva.

Attractions
