Ballymena (Borough)

Ballymena ( in Irish: An Baile Meánach ) is one of the 26 Districts in Northern Ireland. The District, whose territory lies in the traditional county of Antrim, was established in 1973 and has the status of a Borough. Significant places in the Borough are the City of Ballymena, which is also the administrative center, and Broughshane, Cullybackey, Galgorm, Ahoghill and Portglenone.
