The Baluchi language, called ( بلوچی ) also Balochi, Beluchi, Baluchi or Balochi, is a language in the Indo-Iranian branch of the language of the sub-group of the Iranian languages.

It belongs to the so-called North West Group of the Iranian language family and is said by genetic criteria thus be attributed to similar roots as Kurdish.

Balochi is spoken by about six million people. Besides Baloch also populations in the near area speak Balochi, but usually only as a second language.

Baluchi was relatively late in the 20th century, transliterated, with particular modified Arabic script systems have been developed sporadically writing systems based on the Latin or Cyrillic alphabet were used.
