The Balonne Highway is a highway in the south of the Australian state of Queensland. It connects the Carnarvon Highway ( R46, A55 ) and the Castlereagh Highway ( A55 ) in St. George with the Mitchell Highway ( A71 ) and the Bulloo Developmental Road in Cunnamulla.
The excellent than State Road 49 Highway, the continuation of the Moonie Highway ( S49 ) to the west dar. It is named after the Balonne River, where the town of St. George is, and is part of the Adventure Way. Between St George and Cunnamulla are no major cities.
The highest point in the course of the highway is 234 m and the lowest at 180 m. The maximum slope is 5%.
