Balonne River in St George in southwest Queensland

Template: Infobox River / Obsolete

The Balonne River is a river in the south of the Australian state of Queensland. To the east of Condamine Condamine River is his name, and then changes his name. This is because different explorers explored rivers at various points, and named, and it was found later that it is the same river. However, the traditional name remained. The Balonne River flows to the southwest, where it splits at Dirranbandi in a flood plain in several rivers.

To the west there branches off from the Culgoa River, which unites 67 kilometers west of the city Brewarrina with the Barwon River to the Darling River. The other arm is still called Balonne River, but soon splits into Bokhara River and Narran River. The Bokhara River empties after about 160 kilometers into the Barwon River. The Narran River flows into a wetland in the endorheic Narran Lake.
