The airport Balti City ( Aeroportul Balti - Oras in Romanian) is one of two airports in the Greater Balti, Moldova. Balti City is a regional airport, in contrast to the Balti - Leadoveni International Airport.
Geographical location
The airport Balti City is located on the eastern border in the district Autogara de Nord of Balti. The city center is easy and convenient with the trolley line 1 within 10 minutes.

The airport Balti City and its helipad mainly serving the domestic traffic between Balti and the northern cantons of Moldova, namely for agricultural purposes.
History
During the Second World War Balti City was the most important airport in the area.
