The Rajon Baltijsk (Russian Балтийский район, Baltijski Rajon ) is a raion in Kaliningrad Oblast.

Geography

The Rajon bordering the Baltic Sea in the west and the Vistula Lagoon in the east. In the north there is a limit to Rajon Selenogradsk. The Russian part of the Vistula Spit is located in the area of ​​Rajons.

Communities

The Rajon Baltijsk consists of two urban communities and a rural community, which include the two cities Baltijsk and Primorsk and ten other settlements.

History

The city was Baltijsk 1947-1996 administrative law in a territory that was placed under the city until 1992, by a Soviet city from 1992 to 1996, the urban baltijsker Administration.
