History

2001-2002

The team was founded in 2001 to compete in the ARCA Racing Series. The driver was then Andy Hillenburg. That same year, BAM Racing tried 400 to qualify the Winston Cup, now Sprint Cup, at Daytona International Speedway for the Pepsi, but failed at the qualification. See the following qualification tests of the season for the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway, the Brickyard 400 with Andy Hillenburg and the Pennzoil Freedom 400 failed with Rich Bickle.

The first race in the Winston Cup went BAM Racing with Shawna Robinson, a woman, on February 17, 2002 at the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. Shawna Robinson finished the race in 24th place with 13 laps behind the winner Ward Burton. It has been announced that it will participate in 24 races of the season, but it managed often not even to qualify the car for the race. Her last race was the second race, which is held annually in Daytona, the Pepsi 400, which she finished on the 40th place. Kevin Lepage, Stuart Kirby, Ron Hornaday Jr., Stacy Compton and Derrike Cope drove in the remaining races of the season. The best finishing position in a race reached Stacy Compton, who took on the Talladega Superspeedway number 22 in the EA Sports 500.

2003-2008

For the 2003 season won BAM Racing the very experienced Ken Schrader with 1-800-CALL-ATT as the main sponsor on the Dodge with the start number 49 However, this sponsorship deal only lasted half a year, after which the team has performed with many different sponsors. The team increased considerably in the season and was able to qualify for 32 of the 36 races. Twice it was enough for a top 10 ranking, the first time in Virginia 500 at Martinsville Speedway, and then again in the GFS Marketplace 400 at Michigan International Speedway, where Schrader was eighth, which was the best finish of the season.

The year 2004 started BAM Racing again with Ken Schrader. Ken Schrader made it to his Dodge for all 36 races to qualify, but he improved the average finishing position, had three failures less and reached a sixth place in the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway another top - 10 finish. This was also the best to date race position of the team. In addition to the # 49 BAM Racing began in 2004, yet another car one. It is sponsored by SEM and Color Horizons Dodge with the start number 59, which was driven by the German Klaus Graf. The first qualifying attempt made Earl in Dodge / Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway. He managed to qualify, starting at No. 38 and finished the race on a good 17th place before the known drivers such as Dale Jarrett and Matt Kenseth. Also for the Sirius Satellite Radio at The Glen, he tried to qualify, then failed, however, that the qualifying was canceled due to rain. Similarly, Graf failed to qualifying for the Subway 500 at Martinsville Speedway

In the 2005 season they kept Ken Schrader under contract, Klaus Graf did not return. Ken Schrader came three times in the top 10. His best finish was an eighth place in the Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway. The tenth place he learned a little later in the Pepsi 400 at Daytona International Speedway. At the end of Schrader, who has done a good development work at BAM Racing, announced that he would switch to Wood Brothers / JTG Racing. In the 2006 season BAM Racing began several drivers. They started the season with Brent Sherman, the Serta sponsorship brought into the team. However, Sherman had problems. He qualified for only six races and was the basis of which also dismissed, but this also meant that Sherman's sponsor Serta left the team again. On the Martinsville Speedway Jimmy Spencer was used, but this also failed because of the qualification. In May, then took over Mike Wallace for a short time, the control of the Dodge with the start number 49, before Kevin Lepage decided to leave his team Front Row Motorsports to help BAM Racing. In addition, Chris Cook was used in the road course races, but he also failed to qualify for both of these races. At the end of the season then took over Mike Bliss the cockpit of Kevin Lepage. Bliss qualified for six races. His best finish was a 23rd in the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

For the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup season they kept Mike Bliss under contract, there sat one of Gillett Evernham Motorsports engines one, however, the situation barely improved in the team so that Mike Bliss left the team after only four successful qualifications. Chad Chaffin took the wheel for the race at the New Hampshire International Speedway, while the team was looking for a new regular driver. Meanwhile, Klaus Graf should make his comeback in the Nextel Cup. The team announced it in the Toyota / Save Mart 350 and want to use in the Centurion Boats at The Glen. When Toyota / Save Mart 350 Graf failed because of the difficult -to-handle cars in qualifying. Qualifying at Watkins Glen fell as it did in 2004, when Klaus Graf qualifying tried the rain victim so that Klaus Graf was also in Watkins Glen to start because his car was not among the top 43 of the Owner Points, which in this case, have guaranteed a starting place. Later in the season, Mike Bliss returned once for a short time, but was then replaced by John Andretti, who will finish the season at BAM Racing.

At the start of the 2008 season Ken Schrader returned to BAM Racing. He failed at the qualification to three of the first five races. For Goody's Cool Orange 500 in the Sprint Cup season 2008, the team moved from Dodge to Toyota. Furthermore, they had with Microsoft found a good sponsor, but the team took no further part in the race longer. Despite repeated announcement, the team returned in the 2009 season not return to the Sprint Cup.

Since 2010

BAM Racing plans in the 2010 season as a full-time team in the Sprint Cup to go to the team. For this purpose, it was concluded an alliance with Robby Gordon Motorsports, which provides cars and staff available and BAM Racing will support in technical matters.
