Bambuco

Bambuco (also: el bambuco ) is a genre of music that comes from the Andean Colombia.

Default, the clock Bambuco is similar to the European waltz or Polska (not polka ). He has either 6/8- or 3/4-time. It is usually sung in duet and accompanied with guitar ( s) and tiple.

Typically Bambuco is also danced concomitantly, so Bambuco is also the name of the dance.

The style of music contains elements of African, Spanish and indigenous music of the Colombian Andean peoples.
