Ban Bueng District

Amphoe Ban Bueng ( Thai: อำเภอ บ้านบึง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the center of the province of Chonburi. The Chonburi province is located in the eastern region of central Thailand.

Geography

The neighboring Amphoe are from clockwise from the north: the Amphoe Phan Thong, Phanat Nikhom, Bo Thong, Nong Yai, Amphoe Mueang Si Racha and Chonburi. All Amphoe located in the province of Chonburi.

History

The district was first established in 1921 as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) in 1938, he got the full Amphoe status.

Management

The circle is divided into eight subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 52 villages ( Muban ).

Ban Bueng itself ( Thai: เทศบาล เมือง บ้านบึง ) has a city - state ( thesaban Mueang ) and consists of parts of the tambon Ban Bueng.

There are also three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Hua Kunchae ( เทศบาล ตำบล หัวกุญแจ ) consists of the Tambon Khlong Kio,
  • Nong Chak ( เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง ชา ก ) consists of the whole tambon Nong Chak,
  • Nong Phai Kaeo ( เทศบาล ตำบล หนองไผ่ แก้ว ) consists of parts of the tambon Nong Phai Kaeo.

There are still seven - Tambon administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล )
