Banca Transilvania

Banca Transilvania S. A. is a company from Romania with its headquarters in Cluj- Napoca. The company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in the stock index BET 10.

Banca Transilvania was founded in 1993 and opened its first branch on 16 February 1994 at its headquarters in Cluj- Napoca. The management of the Bank have Horia Ciorcilǎ and Robert C. Rekkers held (as of 2007).

The bank expanded in the following years and in December 2003 had already 331 business locations in Romania.
