Bandid Jaiyen

Bandid Jaiyen ( Thai: บัณฑิต ใจเย็น; * around 1948 ) is a former Thai National badminton player.

Sporting career

In his home country he won in 1968 in the Mixed with Pachara Pattabongse. Two years later he won the men's doubles with Sangob Rattanusorn with the Thai Championships. 1971 and 1972 both defended this item. In 1974 he was again in double success, this time with Pichai Kongsirithavorn at his side. From 1977 to 1980, he won four times in a row with Preecha Sopajaree. In the individual he was from 1971 to 1976 continuously champions in Thailand.

At the 1972 Summer Olympics, where badminton was played as a demonstration sport, he left in the quarter- finals of the function SINGLE against Svend Pri. The Canadian Open in 1976, he designed victorious. In the Southeast Asia Games 1971 he won bronze. A year earlier he won even silver at the Asian Games in mixed doubles with Pachara Pattabongse.
