Wooden roller coaster Bandit

Bandit [ bændɪt ], to 2004 Wild Wild West, is a wooden roller coaster manufacturer Roller Coaster Corporation of America, and currently stands at Movie Park Germany ( Bottrop- Kirchhellen, North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany ).

Bandit was at that time the only wooden roller coaster in Germany and is also referred to as the first "modern " wooden roller coaster in Germany. It was opened as Wild Wild West 1999. After the takeover of Warner Bros. Movie World Germany in 2004 by StarParks she goes under the name Bandit since 2005. In the 2009 season Bandit has long been out of service due to technical problems, but has been driving season starting in 2010.

End of May 2013 Bandit was closed again because the driving behavior did not meet the desired requirements of the park. Since 16 August 2013, the train is back in service.

Ride

Bandit was built in Cyclone - style. As Cyclone roller coaster is called webs on the Cyclone in the U.S. Astroland Amusement Park at Coney Iceland, Brooklyn (New York) remember. The track is almost a one-to -one copy of the Psyclone roller coaster opened in 1991 at the amusement park Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.

As the roller coaster opened as Wild Wild West 1999, her features were built by Intamin. 2001, they were replaced by trains from Premier Rides. Bandit has two trains with five cars. In each carriage six people ( three rows of two people) take place. The middle three cars are equipped at the rear with cameras that film the first row of the following car.
