History

Bang Khla 1901 was established, the administrative building was in Wat Mai Bang Khla, which is located in Tambon Ban Suan today. Ban Bang Khla is located on Khlong (canal) Bang Khla. When the administration was no longer in the center of the circle, the government transferred them to the Tambon Tao Sura, about five kilometers away from the previous location. Later, the name was changed in the Tambon Bang Khla to coincide with the name of the circle.

Management

The circle is divided into eight subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 56 villages ( Muban ).

There are two other small towns ( Tambon thesaban ):

  • Bang Khla ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บางคล้า ) consists of parts of the tambon Bang Khla,
  • Pak Nam ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ปากน้ำ ) consists of the whole Tambon Pak Nam.

In addition, there are eight " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.

The missing geocodes refer to the tambon which now belong to Amphoe Khlong Khuean.
