Banha (Arabic بنها ) is a town in Egypt in the Nile Delta and the administrative seat of the government of al - Qalyubiyya. The city is located 48 km north of Cairo on the eastern bank of the Nile Damiettearms. The industries include cotton processing and the electronics industry. The city is also an important railway junction.
