Bank Forum
Bank Forum JSC ( Joint Stock Commercial) is a bank in Ukraine, based in Kiev.
Bank Forum was founded in 1994 by the oligarch Leonid Yurushev, who also delivered 84.5 percent of the capital. She had mid-2007, approximately 9,500 medium-sized and 2,500 other corporate clients. In the 230 branches around 230,000 private customers are served. The bank currently has approximately 4,400 employees. With total assets of about 1.4 billion euros and a market share of 2.3 percent, it was the middle of 2007 at position 10 of the Ukrainian banks.
Commerzbank AG took over mid-September 2007 a share of 60 percent plus one share of Yurushev. There was a purchase price of $ 600 million (then about 435 million euros ). On 4 March 2010 they stopped this share to 89.3 percent by completely took over Yurushevs remaining share. After the Commerzbank had its stake to 96.06 percent in the meantime, she announced July 30, 2012, their share of the Smart Holding, a Ukrainian investment company to sell. The sale closed with a loss of approximately 200 million euros.
