Suomen Pankki is the Finnish Central Bank ( Finnish: Suomen Pankki, Swedish: Finlands Bank ) and the fourth oldest central bank in the world.

Waihetus - Laina - yes Depositioni - Contorin ( The exchange, credit and deposit office ) in the Grand Duchy of Finland was on 1 March 1811 in Turku, the former capital of Finland, founded by Tsar Alexander I as a predecessor bank of the Finnish central bank. In 1819 the bank moved to Helsinki, and her first little significant tasks were gradually expanded. She received in 1840 the right to issue banknotes, and in 1865 she was in control of the dissolved from the Finnish Mark rubles transferred. In 1999, Finland adopted the euro as its official currency, and the Finnish Mark was abolished.

The Finnish Central Bank is a member of the European System of Central Banks and responsible for the procurement, regulation and production of the needed cash in Finland.

Branches are located in Vantaa, Kuopio, Tampere, Oulu and Turku.
