The Bank of Namibia (English Bank of Namibia, BON) is the central bank of Namibia and thus operates the exchange rate and monetary policy for the Namibia dollar.

The Bank of Namibia was established in 1998 and is managed by a Board of Directors. This consists of the Governor, the Deputy Governor, the Permanent Envoy of the Treasury, a member of the civil service and four other members of the public.

The head office of the Bank is located in Windhoek, a branch in Oshakati.
