Banka Slovenije ( Bank of Slovenia dt ) is the central bank of the Republic of Slovenia, Ljubljana.

The Bank of Slovenia was founded shortly after the country gained independence on 25 June 1991. It is an independent central bank with reporting obligations towards the Slovenian Parliament. Since 2007 she is part of the European System of Central Banks and part in the establishment of the monetary policy for the countries of the European Monetary Union. In addition, the Bank acts in the Slovenian banking system.
