Banner of Labor
The Banner of Labor was founded on August 4, 1954, in one stage and was an Order of the GDR, to individuals, labor collectives, enterprises, combines and other facilities for " an excellent and longstanding achievements in the development and consolidation of the GDR, in particular for high work results in the national economy " was awarded.
On August 8, 1974, the Order was extended to three levels:
- Level I: 1000 Mark
- Level II: 750 marks
- Level III: 500 marks
The previously conferred the Order were considered order of stage I.
