Banwa Province

Banwa is a province in the region of Boucle du Mouhoun in the West African state of Burkina Faso with about 232 700 inhabitants ( January 2007) to 5882 km ².

The province consists of the departments of Balavé, Kouka, Sami, Sanaba, Solenzo and Tansila.

Capital is Solenzo. The inhabitants of the province are mainly Bwaba, Mossi and Sanan, who live from agriculture.
