Baoji

Baoji (Chinese宝鸡 市/宝鸡 市, pinyin Baoji shi) is a prefecture -level city in northwest China's Shaanxi Province. It has an area of ​​18,235 km ² and approximately 3.68 million inhabitants (2003 ), of which 446,000 inhabitants in the city center. It is located about 150 km west of the provincial capital Xi'an riverside Qian He, which flows at Tongguan in the Huang He. Just south of the city extends to over 400 km in length, the Qin Ling Mountains.

Baoji is a transportation hub for a long time and was located on the ancient Silk Road from Xi'an to Parthia. Since the opening of the railway line to Chengdu, 1957, it is a hub for cargo handling in northwest China. Of economic importance are further railway workshops, cotton, paper and tobacco-processing industry.

Baoji is made up of three districts and nine districts:
