Bar (river)
The Canal des Ardennes shortened through the tunnel of Saint- Aignan from a flow loop of the bar.
The bar is a river in France, which runs in the Ardennes department in the Champagne- Ardenne region. It rises in the municipality of Harri Court, drained generally north to northwest and ends after 62 kilometers in the municipality of Villers- sur-Bar, near Sedan, a left tributary of the canalized Meuse, the Canal de la Meuse is here. In its lower course the bar is accompanied as a side channel through the Canal des Ardennes and also used for its water supply.
