The Baralachala La ( also Paralatse La) is located in the district of Lahaul Spiti and of the state of Himachal Pradesh in the north- western India. It separates the headwaters of the Bhaga and Chandra, which according to its confluence at Tandi near Keylong as Chandrabhaga in a southwesterly direction to the Indus flow to the headwaters of Yunan, which flows through the Tsarap Chu and Zanskar in the north to the Indus.
