Barbara Bach

Barbara Bach ( born August 27, 1947 in Queens, New York; actually Barbara Goldbach ) is an American actress.

Biography

The daughter of a New York policeman who came from Austria, started at the age of 16 years to work as a photo model and learned while working as a model the Italian businessman Augusto Gregorini know. She followed him to Italy, where they were married and two children were born: Francesca ( b. 1969 ) and Gian Andrea (* 1972). The couple divorced in 1978.

One of her first roles is that of Nausicaa in the television eight divider The Odyssey ( with Bekim Fehmiu as Ulysses and Irene Papas as Penelope ) from the year 1968.

In the 1970s, Barbara Bach was one of the most sought after models in the world and began her film career in Italy. The combination of acting experience and dazzling looks earned her the role as Bond girl alongside Roger Moore in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977. The film became her greatest success. In several films she played together with Franco Nero. Popularity they reached the sacred beast of Kuma's also on the side of Mel Ferrer and Claudio Cassinelli in the film.

In 1980, she starred alongside ex- Beatle drummer Ringo Starr in the stone-age comedy Caveman - He came out of the cave. They fell in love during filming and have been married since 27 April 1981. The marriage is childless.
