Barbara Brylska

Barbara Brylska ( born June 5, 1941 in Skotniki, Kruszwica, Poland) is a Polish actress.

Life

Barbara Brylska had her film debut as a seventeen year old in Antoni Bohdziewiczs Kalosze szczęścia (1958). Her role in the film Boomerang she made in 1966 quickly became one of the most popular actresses in Poland. International attention she won in the same year as a priestess Kama in Jerzy Kawalerowicz ' Pharaoh. In 1967 she completed her studies at the Academy of Film and Television in Lodz with diploma. In 1969 she played in the DEFA Indian films White Wolves and Maltese Falcon the female lead role of Catherine Emmerson on the side of Gojko Mitic.
