Barbara Henneberger

Barbara -Maria " Barbi " Henneberger ( born October 4, 1940 in Oberstaufen, † April 12, 1964 in St. Moritz, Switzerland ) was in the 1960s, a German alpine skier and Olympic bronze medalist in slalom.

From a young age became enthusiastic talent for alpine winter sports. In 1962 and 1963 she was in the downhill and giant slalom, 1960 and 1962 in the combination and in 1964 in the Slalom German champion. In addition there were ten runner-up five times she was third. Barbara Henneberger came during the filming of the ski film ski fascination of her fiancé Willy Bogner along with the American racer Buddy Werner by a slab avalanche killed; she was buried in the Woodland Cemetery in Munich (age ). Willy Bogner was sentenced to two months in prison on parole for manslaughter by the Cantonal Court Committee of Graubünden on March 31, 1965.
