Barbara Kudrycka

Barbara Kudrycka (born 22 January 1956 in Kolno ) is a legal and administrative scientist and Polish politician, from 16 November 2007 to 27 November 2007, Minister of Science and Higher Education in Poland in the government of Donald Tusk.

Life

Your education she graduated in Białystok. 1985 doctorate Barbara Kudrycka and ten years later she completed her habilitation of Law. Her political career began in the 1980s when she became a member of Solidarity. 1998-2007 she was rector of the Higher School of Administration " Stanisław Staszic " in Białystok and in October 2003 she was Chair of Administrative Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Białystok. In 2004 she was selected for the Civic Platform ( Platforma Obywatelska ) in the European Parliament. There she was in the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and the Delegation for relations with Belarus. From 1 January 2006 to 14 February 2007, she was still in the temporary committee on the alleged use of European countries by the CIA for the transportation and illegal detention of prisoners.

Barbara Kudrycka was president of NISPAcee - the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe and board member of EGPA - the European Group of Public Administration, the two most important European companies for management science. She is a member of Transparency International Polska, as well as Amnesty International.

She is married and has two daughters.
