Barbara Morgenstern

Barbara Morgenstern ( born March 19, 1971 in Hagen ) is a German keyboard player, organist and singer.

Life

Barbara Morgenstern describes himself as an autodidact. After piano lessons as a child and jazz classes at the Hagen music school she played as a teenager in a band. She decided in 1991, after completing her schooling at the Ernst- Meister -Gymnasium in Hagen hasp to be a musician.

From 1992 to 1994 she lived in Hamburg, where he worked as a musician with his own music and as a singer in an a cappella group. At the Hamburg University, she participated in a six-week popular music course.

In 1994 she moved to Berlin, where she initially played as a keyboardist in a band and focused on their own music from 1996.

2003/2004 was Barbara Morgenstern by the Goethe Institute, together with Maximilian Hecker, invited to a world tour with 34 stations.

In the following years she worked together with Stefan Schneider and Robert Lippok of To Rococo Rot.

In 2008 appeared Morgenstern's fifth album bm, this time less electronically, for orchestral. In the present piece Come To Berlin a pessimistic view of the current urban development of Berlin is drawn.
