Barbara Sadleder

Barbara Sadleder ( born June 17, 1967 in Steyr ) is a former Austrian alpine skier. She specializes in the speed disciplines Downhill and Super- G and reached two World Cup podiums and three top- 10 finishes at the Olympics and World Championships.

Career

Sadleder visited the Skihauptschule in Windischgarsten and then Skihandelsschule Waidhofen an der Ybbs. After initial successes in the European Cup - they reached in the season 1986/1987 in second place in the downhill rating - they came in the same winter to her first stakes in the World Cup. At the end of the season they won 14th place in the downhill of Vail first World Cup points and at the beginning of the next winter they scored the eighth place in the combination of Leukerbad.
