Barbie and the Diamond Castle is a computer-animated film in the Barbie universe from the year 2008.
Action
Barbie is with her friend Teresa playing music when they are suddenly interrupted by Barbie's sister Stacie. This expresses an argument with her friend, whereupon Barbie tells her a fairy tale, which is also the story of two good friends who split in dispute and thus risked their lives:
Delia ( in the form of Barbie ) and Alexa ( in the form of Teresa ) are best friends and one day find two seemingly magical jewelry hearts, which they create as a sign of their friendship immediately. Later, they meet an old, emaciated woman. Delia shares her last bread with the woman, which it shows gratitude and the two girls gives a mirror.
Later they discover that Melody, a young musical muse, is trapped in this mirror. She explains Delia and Alexa that she had fled to escape from Lydia, a malignant Muse in the mirror and not come out on their own. Lydia is with her subordinates dragon Slyder in search of the magical dwelling ( the Diamond Castle ) Melody and does everything it can to find the mirror in which keeps hiding Melody.
When Lydia learns of Melody's whereabouts, she sends Slyder, the Delias and Alexa's dwelling eventually destroyed. But Slyder stolen on a false, non-magical mirror. The two women flee along with the mirror and are going to find the Diamond Castle and to protect them from Lydia.
The trio, however, has no money and the hunger begins. Therefore, they decide to sing in a guest house. They replace the duo too late appearing, consisting of Ian and Jeremy, but what the two take with humor. A flirtation attempt of men fails. Delia, Alexa and Melody continue on their way, followed by Ian and Jeremy, the pleasure found in women.
