Barbro Lindgren

Barbro Lindgren - Enskog ( born March 18, 1937 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish children's book author who has also written several books for adult readers.

Life

She worked in an institution for disabled children and has been writing since 1965. Barbro Lindgren has an art school graduated (1958) and some of her books illustrated himself, but has also collaborated with some excellent illustrators. Barbro Lindgren's incomparable style has exerted a major influence on the Swedish children 's literature of the present. Located between realism and surrealism, he is humorous and imaginative, and her books for children treat important issues that will be taken seriously and treated for children.
