Barcelona Dragons

The American football team Barcelona Dragons in 1991, was a founding member of the NFL Europe.

In the inaugural season, they were the only team that could beat the London Monarchs. In the first World Bowl, however, the London won their home game at Wembley.

The Dragons wore their home games at Olympic Stadium Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys in Barcelona, where the Olympic Games were held in 1992.

Under its single coach, El Caballero Jack Bicknell, the Dragons won the World Bowl once in 1997, but lost in the years 1991, 1999 and 2001.

In 2002, the Dragons were joined FC Barcelona.

After the 2003 season, the Dragons were dissolved and replaced from 2004 by the Cologne Centurions.
