Barcelona Metro line 1

The L1 is a subway line of the Barcelona Metro. The line has 30 stations, of which are all located in the tunnel except Mercat Nou. The route length is 20.7 kilometers. The line runs from the Bellvitge, a district of L' Hospitalet de Llobregat, up in the north-eastern suburb of Santa Coloma de Gramenet.

The first section of the route was opened in 1926 ( between stations Bordeta and Catalunya). Daily use about 310,000 travelers, air-conditioned coaches of the L1, which make it the most frequented line metro network. A trip from end to end takes about 35 minutes.
