Barcolana regatta
Barcolana is a sailing regatta off the northern Italian port city of Trieste. It takes place since 1969 every year on the second Sunday in October in the Gulf of Trieste instead. With approximately 2,000 participating yachts competition is one of the largest sailing races in the world.
